On October 7, Viladecans will host the fourth edition of the Vilawatt National Conference on Energy Transition and Citizenship, which this year will focus on how to move toward a socially just and participatory renewable energy transition, placing citizens at the center of the transformation.
The conference will address, through three panel discussions, models for a just and participatory energy transition, community energy projects and energy communities, and the role of public administrations in their implementation.
The event will conclude with a visit to the Agropolis campus of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) to learn about a pioneering agrovoltaic project with the potential to inspire community initiatives. Participation is free, but registration is required.
